Episode 25: MLB imdb

On this episode the silver screen meets the gold glove as Mark and Jackie take center stage with ballplayers who have gone Hollywood. We start with Johnny Bench (of course) and some "memorable" cameos. Jackie gets into the spotlight with the only person to win a World Series and have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame: John Beradino. Then Mark goes just a bit outside as he takes us through the career of Bob Uecker. Plus, we get into which current major leaguers we'd cast as movie archetypes.

Episode 24: Bans

We’re striking up the ban as we explore players not named Pete Rose who have been banned from the game. Jackie tells the story of the batting title scandal of 1910 between Napoleon “Nap” Lajoie and Ty Cobb that got both the manager and coach of the St. Louis Browns (a team neither man played for) banned from baseball. Most baseball fans know about the Black Sox, but what about the Black Mist? Mark has all the details on a scandal that rocked Japanese baseball.
